One Sunday morning on the hottest day of the summer season, a good friend of mine took me for a ride to the Mornington Peninsula.
Mornington Peninsula is a well-known winery region in Victoria with more than 50 cellar doors to visit.
But our plan was set for a beer, and a place called Redhill Brewery was our number one priority. The 1st time I visited this place back in 2009, and it was only a short visit – no drinking at all. It was because we were aiming for the beer making session, and we missed it.
The 2nd visit was today and the main intentions were drinking and eating.
Upon the arrival at the brewery, we ordered 3 samples in small pots, and the pint size of the whisky ale. Oh my … oh my … they were deliciously brilliant beers.
The BBQ Smoker is located right at the front door of the main door. The aroma of the smoked meat and the burned wood is hard to resist.
Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy – Benjamin Franklin
Do not drink with an empty stomach or else you could be drunk easily. Up until now, the pulled pork and the roast beef still haunt me in my sleep due to their undescribable deliciousness.
A very recommended place to hang out with your best mates.
Please note: Do not drink and drive. Plan ahead, and have someone who doesn’t drink to drive you home.
